Coinciding with the first unloading operation at the Port of Tarragona’s new Berth Number 7, the president of the Port, Josep Maria Cruset, the general manager of TEPSA, Nuria Blasco, and the director of the terminal, Gonzalo Rey, today visited the new berths of the Moll de la Química, with a draft of 15.1m. Once the first phase of TEPSA’s expansion project in Tarragona has been completed and its storage capacity has been commissioned in full, TEPSA will begin its second phase of expansion in the Port of Tarragona, adding almost 14,000 m³ to its current storage capacity of 71,450 m³.
The president of the Tarragona Port Authority (APT) has thanked “TEPSA’s clear commitment to Tarragona” and “its alignment with the future objectives of the Port to continue to expand, both in liquid bulk traffic and as a leading ‘Chemical Hub’ in the Mediterranean”.
